Advice for those new to pro11: 1. First, download the pro11 tutorials (there are several available on this forum; make use of the search function – it will also be useful in the future). Familiarize yourself with how to use the software (downloading the tutorials requires wealth, so you need to obtain wealth first before downloading them). 2. For parameter settings, combine the use of tutorials with basic materials (the simplest source is textbooks on chemical engineering principles; there are also other professional materials that provide more in-depth information as you progress). If you are not familiar with the software and just want to find out how to enter the parameters for the tower, then open the interface for entering those parameters. There, you will find options such as “tray hydraulics packing” and “Tray Efficiencies”. By navigating to these sections, you can set the parameters related to the trays and packing, as well as the efficiency of the trays. If you want to know the basis for setting these parameters, theoretical guidance is needed; Principles of Chemical Engineering should be your best choice. If you want to get started quickly, look for materials posted on forums – there is one document specifically on towers that is very useful; go and find it.
