What is the general control level for gas desulfurization gas speed design in ammonia plants?
For ammonia plants, it is generally divided into semi-desulfurization (semi-water gas desulfurization) and variable desulfurization (shift gas desulfurization). The diameter of the desulfurization tower is also different depending on the selected desulfurizer and filler during design. Generally, semi-desulfurization should be controlled at around 0.5m/s, with a maximum not exceeding 0.7m/s. Variable desulfurization is generally around 0.20m/s, with a maximum not exceeding 0.25m/S.
Got the lesson. Our factory produces 60,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, with half-strength of 3.4 meters and full-thickness of 2.4 meters, which is still within this range.
