The 2007 “Touching HaiChuan” Top 10 Outstanding Individuals selection was a significant event that year; the initiators were truly remarkable for raising issues that everyone cared about. I have a few suggestions: 1\ The selection of Top 10 Outstanding Individuals limits it to just 10 people, which seems too few for such a large website; more selections would help motivate everyone. 2\ Could the selection process be made more detailed by introducing multiple awards, such as the Most Promising Member Award, Excellent Administrator Award, and Technical Excellence Award? This way, talented individuals can be identified and contribute to HaiChuan. 3\ As long as someone has sufficient qualifications, even if they don’t pay much attention to the forum, they can still be awarded a prize through recommendations from other members, thereby encouraging them to know that HaiChuan is open to all talents! 4\ Those recommended by others are generally those who have excelled in their respective forums; the selection process could be broken down by forum section before a final overall evaluation, allowing for a clearer understanding of the situation in each section. 5\ Ultimately, HaiChuan aims to become the strongest chemical industry forum, and proper management is essential for that goal. It is recommended to suggest no less than 3 members from the same IP; I’m not willing to check further ； Although talents should be chosen regardless of kinship, it still makes one feel that the credibility decreases to some extent ； Some were recommended before even 5 attempts at getting help. I think it should be taken into account that people from different groups will have different voting effects; for example, a sixth-grader in elementary school and a second-grader will certainly have different understandings of the forum. This can also help reduce duplicate voting by some people to a certain extent
Only relative fairness exists; look at the actual selection processes – is there any absolute fairness in them? The final decision lies with the moderators and administrators, and I believe that we will select 10 people from the top 20.

The results of the selection should be based on data, not just the top 50 or top 20! Members being considered for the award should list their achievements and contributions, as well as what makes them outstanding, so as to be convincing!
I think achievements and contributions cannot be quantified. Selecting the top ten is merely a way of recognizing these individuals; it doesn’t mean that these ten people are better than others. Those who weren’t selected don’t necessarily make less of a contribution to the forum
I think both grades and contributions are important; actively helping others is also a key factor, I guess
