Most salt water pipelines use steel-lined PO, but they have many flange connections, which can lead to various leakage points; moreover, they need to be prefabricated in advance, making construction and maintenance more difficult. Our company uses CS/PE for the salt water pipelines, but CPVC can also be used; personally, I think CS/PE is a better choice. Using non-metals also results in more leakage points, as well as a greater number of pipe support points; moreover, pipes made of non-metals tend to deform over time. Our company used non-metals in the past, but we have now switched to pipes with steel linings.
It is recommended to use fiberglass-reinforced PVC composite pipes, which can address the issues of strength and softening.

Steel-lined PE is good; if the pipeline is quite long, it is advisable to include expansion joints in between, but steel-lined rubber is the better choice.
Either a steel lining with PO or PE is acceptable; the key is the quality of installation. Several additional supports should be used, and the choice of gaskets is also important.
