I majored in chemical engineering; it’s been almost 8 years since I graduated, and I haven’t worked in this field to date. Now I want to try working on the separation design of quad-component systems. I would appreciate any insights from those who are more experienced than me The composition of the system is as follows: toluene 1911 L, n-hexane: 3700 L, dichloromethane: 2850 L, water: 7539 L, for a total of 16000 L. The properties of the mixture and the separation requirements are as follows: 1. The mixture is single-phase. 2.
