Can catalysts used for low-temperature ammonia synthesis be employed as catalysts for removing organic sulfur? What are the limitations? What are the operating conditions? I hope experts can provide some guidance

Low-varying catalysts can remove organic sulfur
The fully low-variant catalyst can remove 60% of the organic sulfur; the remaining organic sulfur can be eliminated using a refined desulfurization agent after decarburization.
In fact, the organic sulfur contained in coal-based feed gas is specifically divided into COS, CS2, as well as thiols and thioethers, etc. Under the action of medium- and low-activity catalysts, 90% of COS can be converted into H2S; about 30–40% of CS2 can be converted, while the conversion of thiolates, thioethers, etc. is relatively low, at around 10%. What is discussed here is conversion, not desulfurization. Since organic sulfur cannot be removed directly, it must be converted into H2S in order to remove the sulfur. In other words, the conversion catalyst cannot desulfurize.
