Every draftsman who is proficient in basic CAD operations will encounter certain difficulties in practical applications, and then either develop their own unique solutions or use common solutions. Not everyone encounters the same problems; sometimes the CAD issues that others face you don’t encounter today, but suddenly you do face them tomorrow. Higher versions of CAD (such as 2006) cannot open files created in lower versions of CAD (such as 2005). I’m not sure if any users have encountered this issue. I ran into it a few days ago. Helplessly, I had to install CAD 2004 in order to open the files created in CAD 2005. I wonder if other users have any better solutions, or maybe you haven’t encountered this issue yet.

One more question: if the fonts on the drawings opened in your version of CAD are incorrect and appear as garbled characters, while the graphics themselves remain unchanged, can you figure out what might be the problem?
It’s a typical font issue~~ You can ask the person who provided the drawing for the font, place it in the FONTS folder within the CAD installation directory, and then select that font when opening the drawing.
There should be more font collections in the FONTS folder within the CAD installation directory
