Our company is about to start working on three cooling towers. I’ve heard that the drive shafts are very important. Which company does a good job in manufacturing drive shafts for cooling tower fans?
It depends on what material it is made of Stainless steel, or carbon fiber? Domestic stainless steels are more or less the same; there are also Leitensno drive shafts made of carbon fiber in the United States, as well as carbon fiber shafts from TB in Germany.
Baoding Fan Factory is a military-related enterprise; it’s quite good.
All the stainless steel used domestically is actually made from domestically produced stainless steel; it’s not imported from Japan. The choice of material for the drive shaft depends on the specific quality of the water – whether it is highly corrosive to the point that stainless steel cannot withstand it, in which case a carbon fiber shaft should be used.
The cooling tower fans in our factory are from Shanghai Chemical Machinery Factory No. 2; we have been using them for over 10 years now, and they have worked perfectly with no problems at all.
