May I ask how to install steam pipe expansion joints? There is currently a steam and condensate return pipe with a diameter of 150, approximately 500 meters in length, and the return water temperature is around 150 degrees. There is an expansion joint every 100 meters or so; 50 meters is incorrect. You are referring to it in terms of a single pipe
Give priority to natural compensation; expansion joints generally have a short lifespan, and they should never be used unless it is absolutely necessary. It should be calculated; based on our company’s experience, for DN300 steam pipes, red-colored pipes are used in sections of 100 meters each. Instead of using expansion joints, it is better to use U-shaped bends, as this reduces the risk of leaks and yields better results.
