I am currently using a boiler with a heat value of 2000 KW. The operating capacity of this boiler is always very low, which makes it easy for the temperature to rise too high and cause the boiler to shut down; restarting it then increases the likelihood of it shutting down again. Does anyone have any experience in modifying burners? Or any other experience? Operating conditions: Fuel: Heavy oil, 60 L/Hr. Purpose: Heating with heat transfer oil. Burner: SAK. Furnace body: AKB
1. First, check the burner by examining its power and pressure curves. If the pressure at the corresponding power level (i.e., 2000 KW) is too low, it becomes difficult for the flue gases to be expelled, which can lead to the burner going out. In such a case, it is recommended to replace the burner. 2. Check the structure of the boiler itself and examine the size of the furnace chamber. If the chamber is too small, the burner flame cannot spread properly, which means the burner cannot reach its intended power level. If attempts are made to increase the power, the burner will simply go out. In such a case, it’s quite problematic, and it can only be attributed to a flaw in the boiler’s design.
