It’s possible that the pipes are severely corroded! It’s even more likely that the monomers recovered by your factory contain high concentrations of other polymer organic substances! The above situations apply assuming that vinyl chloride is being recovered through polymerization. I’m not sure if this is what you meant; if it’s during the compression process, such issues generally do not occur
It may be a mixture of high-boiling substances, rust, vinyl chloride, etc. It is recommended that the original poster take samples to analyze the main components of this mixture. This post was last edited by yhpsxj on 2007-12-2 21:07.]
Next to the gas holder, there is a recovery pipeline; both the recovery from distillation and polymerization takes place through this pipeline and is sent back to the gas holder. I don’t think it’s high-boiling substances, as we keep adding residual materials at night and there’s no such color in that case; it might be related to polymerization or rust
Now I wonder if it’s rusted Because we generally don’t turn on the recycling unit; even when the machine is stopped, it remains in single-molecule mode. So how could rust occur? However, it’s not rust; I’m not sure what it is either. I suspect there might be a problem with the polymerization process
I think it should be things that are recycled through aggregation.
After being discharged from the polymerization reactor, the slurry passes through a stripping tower where heat is transferred in a counter-current manner using steam; in some dead zones, part of the material gets vaporized by the steam, or it simply flows downward and enters the condenser along with the steam, reaching the gas inlet tank. Discoloration occurs due to long-term deposition in the gas holder. Suggestion: 1. Regularly flush stripper 2. Increase the spray at the top of the stripping tower to prevent material from entering the gas holder
It is possible to analyze the moisture content in VCM; if it exceeds 1000, it is likely that the moisture level is too high, which can cause corrosion in pipes and equipment.
