Those who have used acoustic soot blowers, please come and share your experiences. Which company in China is relatively good at manufacturing these devices?
There are many types of soot blowers; those that use sound waves seem to be quite advanced, but those used in our facility have not turned out to be effective. If the operating conditions permit it, medium-pressure steam is the most effective medium for this purpose. Shock waves generate a significant instantaneous impact on the equipment; therefore, such blowers should not be used when the equipment is old, especially when the lining of the heating furnace is worn out. In fact, the key to soot blowing lies in establishing strict systems and ensuring that soot blowing is carried out continuously. For fuel-fired heaters, if soot blowing is not carried out for an extended period of time, the hardened dirt cannot be removed by any soot blower.
