If it’s the management team selling their own attachments, that’s understandable after all, as they’ve put effort into those materials. But I don’t understand why the management team, including the actual moderators, still posts replies like this to posts where only the key content is visible, thereby encouraging irrelevant replies. There were such precedents in the past, but times have changed now; it needs to be normalized ； Moderators are role models for members. The content reported on floor 76 in the forum’s reporting thread is truly difficult to deal with. It’s the first time the poster has received a PM informing them that they have been reported; they are asked to make corrections ； No response. After 2 days, 1 unit of wealth was deducted symbolically, but still no response... Everyone is here to serve the forum, and no one wants to use forced measures ； Personally, I can’t even delete all such replies. It is recommended to start with actual moderators and team members; please do not post such threads again in the future.
As cocain said, many members are very annoyed by posts that state “you need to reply to the post in order to see certain content or attachments”! Firstly, such posts give off a somewhat forced impression; people reply just to view the attachments, and they are basically trivial posts with no real substance. This might be acceptable on entertainment-focused forums, but it’s not quite appropriate for a technical forum like ours! Secondly, as such posts increase in number, more members respond to them, which can cause older posts to rise to the top while newer posts get pushed down. This also causes certain inconvenience to the moderators’ management.
Whenever I see posts of this kind on other forums, I’m extremely upset by them; they seem to be trying to be mysterious for no reason. If I want to respond, I usually just write “Reply”. It’s ridiculous that some forums even indicate that the post is too short and constitutes spam. In fact, it is these kinds of posts that lead to spamming and can result in negative consequences. I strongly support the poster’s suggestions and approach.
It turns out that there are such posts on the Haichuan Forum as well. I’ve been on this forum for so long yet never encountered any of them, but I have seen them on other forums. I don’t want to see such posts; I thought they couldn’t be posted on Haichuan. Since they do exist here, I’ll be more careful from now on. There should be no new posts of this type anymore. At least I haven’t found a way to make the post content visible only after replying. I suggest that everyone gather the links to such posts while browsing the forum and edit them together. I’ve already modified several of them.:lol
