It seems that Tianchen isn’t as good as I thought; I wonder how the Eighth Institute is doing now!

Coal chemical industry falls under the Sixth Research Institute, while fertilizer production is handled by the Eighth Research Institute. Tianchen might be of average quality; its overall strength is probably on par with that of the Eighth Research Institute
It’s hard to get in, but that’s another matter if you have connections.
In terms of influence and strength, what’s the point of SEI if it doesn’t exist? The engineering companies and design institutes under Sinopec all possess strong capabilities.
