What is the minimum height of the manhole above the ground level platform? Urgently needed
There should be regulations, right? I think ease of operation for staff is the most important thing; if it’s too low, it increases the difficulty of their work.
If you choose a standard manhole, this distance is approximately 200 mm, as it also depends on the design height of the platform. lsswyb01 is right!! There are standard options to choose from! If a custom design is needed, it depends on the specific circumstances!!
For ordinary use, the distance between the centers of the holes and the platform should be 800–900 mm to facilitate access for people; it should not be less than 500 mm at the minimum
The manhole should allow easy access in and out as well as easy removal; 500 is a good minimum size!
The height of the manhole above the platform should be kept between 500 and 1200 mm; I prefer to use the middle value of 800–900 mm
