As the title suggests, under what circumstances can it be used? Are there any clear rules specifying which types can be used and which cannot? For example, can it be used in a steam generator where the temperature of the steam-water mixture at the outlet is 258 degrees and the pressure is PN 4.2 Mpa (gauge pressure)? I would appreciate some guidance from everyone!

Therefore, what the original poster mentioned is certainly a viable option.
Under normal circumstances, a 90-degree elbow is mainly used when space is limited; it creates more resistance than a 135-degree elbow. There’s no problem with your situation
“SH3059 stipulates that long-radius elbows should be preferred for bends; when short-radius elbows are used, their maximum operating pressure should not exceed 0.8 times that of long-radius elbows of the same specification. ”This is because, under the same conditions, the strength of a short-radius elbow is approximately only 80% of that of a long-radius elbow.
