Treatment of wastewater containing polymers

In the production of fluoroplastics, emulsion polymerization often generates large amounts of wastewater containing fluorinated polymer particles, with particle sizes of around a few hundredths of a micron. Is there any way to make this water clear? Ultrafiltration is possible, but it gets clogged easily
Just to clarify the water? Centrifugation (if that doesn’t work, use high speed or over-speed) should work
Sediment first, then membrane filtration – I wonder if that will work.
