Many companies are not aware of the importance of clean production, or rather, they do not understand what benefits it can bring to their businesses. I visited a pharmaceutical company yesterday; due to insufficient capacity, they needed to upgrade their wastewater treatment systems. Naturally, I asked about the amount of wastewater generated, only to be told that they didn’t know, as water usage had never been measured. I then asked if those in charge of production were aware of this, and I was told that they never paid attention to such things, focusing only on the products and not on the consumption of auxiliary materials. Back in the office, I thought to myself: it makes sense – with such good profits, why should pharmaceutical companies care about using more water? It’s the patients who end up suffering as a result. In fact, on the outside, pharmaceutical factories do look quite good, with clean facilities and an attractive appearance, but what about their internal practices?
In fact, even CDM projects brought to China have been distorted; many companies act out of greed, getting money before going on to cause pollution. With our fraud tactics, does the old Russian want to play games with us? No way!

With the establishment of carbon credit mechanisms in the Chinese market, foreign investors have flocked to China to purchase \"emission reduction credits,\" turning CO2 emissions into a commodity that circulates in the market. As major consumers of resources and energy, cement companies are taking measures such as generating electricity from waste heat and utilizing waste to reduce CO2 emissions. Implementing CDM offers significant advantages for projects. In the cement industry, the low-temperature waste heat recovery power generation technology used in cement kilns converts waste heat into electricity for use in production processes, thereby reducing the need to purchase electricity from the grid. This, in turn, leads to a reduction in CO2 emissions generated by coal-fired power plants in the grid. Under the rules of CDM, this reduced amount of CO2 emissions can be sold in the international carbon emission trading market to generate additional financial income. Assuming the price per ton of CO2 equivalent emissions reduced is around $7.50, a new dry-process cement production line with a capacity of 10,000 tons per day, equipped with a 15-megawatt low-temperature waste heat generator, can generate approximately 70,000 to 80,000 tons of CO2 equivalent emissions reductions per year. This means the company can earn an additional income of $525,000 to $600,000 per year, which is equivalent to around 4.2 million to 4.8 million yuan in RMB.
