20592 Flange material issue

I would like to ask why common domestic grades such as 0CR18NI9 are not available in the 20592 series of stainless steel materials. And are there foreign grades such as 304? This post was last edited by tulongshao on 2007-12-4 12:59]
Pay attention to the material code in Table 8.0.2 of the flange standard HG20603-97 \"Technical Requirements for Steel Pipe Flanges\". The 304, 316L, etc. listed in the pressure-temperature rating standards refer not to foreign materials such as 304 and 316L, but rather to codes for domestic standard materials.
You can download information related to stainless steel, understand its classifications, and check the grade listings to avoid using the wrong material.
By looking at the symbols corresponding to the materials in the book HG20583-1998, it should become clear. The stainless steel grades used abroad are the same as ours, but, to put it bluntly, their quality and composition might be slightly better. So the price can sometimes be much higher. For example, 321.
However, the properties of 0CR18NI9 are basically similar to those of 304, with only slight differences in their composition
In practice, 304 is often considered equivalent to OCr18Ni9
