Materials on the toluene market.

There is a lot of research available on materials such as pure benzene and xylene in terms of market aspects, but relatively little research on toluene. Why is that? I hope to get help from experts. :)
Compared to benzene and xylene, the demand for toluene is lower than that of the former two. There are some market research reports on toluene available online, but indeed, there are far fewer of them compared to those on benzene and xylene! This post was last edited by jieg on 2007-12-4 20:23]
That’s indeed the case. However, relatively speaking, pure benzene mainly circulates among the related companies within Sinopec and CNPC. Due to the fact that xylene isomers are essentially recycled PX, manufacturers with strong capabilities purchase the goods directly in bulk. Therefore, the main type of xylene available on the market is solvent-grade xylene. Toluene is used as a solvent for MDI and as a raw material for TDP, among other applications; its uses are relatively diverse. However, there are few materials related to it, which creates some confusion. :)
