The anti-corrosion treatment for the pre-treatment units using Kaimo membrane brine technology at the factory where I used to work involved the use of glass flake coatings; this was carried out by a company based in Anhui, as recommended by Kaimo. It works pretty well; it’s been two years and I’ve heard of no problems.
The quality of glass flake in recent years is not as good as it was 10 years ago. We are currently using materials from Beijing Baimuxin Company, but the colors of the primers in different batches vary significantly; however, the manufacturer claims that there is no issue with the quality. Recently, I’ve learned that polyurea is often used for corrosion protection, eliminating the need for scales. Polyurea anti-corrosion has many advantages, and I am considering using it. :)
We use the glass flake from Jingjiang Prince Group. The scales used in the desalination pond have not caused any problems for over 2 years. The operating environment features a temperature of 65 degrees, a weakly alkaline pH, with a sodium hydroxide content of 0. 5 grams per liter. Keep it dry during construction.
