Which are the top 10 most outstanding design institutes in China? And which are the top 20 in the world? Has anyone collected information on this topic? :handshake :) :) :) It’s possible to rank them using various criteria, such as overall strength, the total value of projects they handle each year, or the amount of work they undertake overseas. The purpose of proposing this is to enable us designers to have a comprehensive understanding; there are many different standards that can be used to determine which design institutes are the best. There seems to be such a ranking, on the BBB. I remember it was SEI who was in charge
The top design firms are probably not Zhongbo; they are all very good choices
In China, SEI Global, Chengda, Tianchen, and Luoyang Design Institute seem to be quite good. Are there any other companies in the petrochemical industry that are even better? I’d like to hear more about them to broaden my knowledge
Each design institute has its own specialties. So it can’t be compared. Global seems to be very strong. Actually, it’s only in the case of ethylene. If it’s polyethylene or something like that. It’s the same – you hire others to do the work outside as well. But its management system is excellent. Management systems as well. I don’t know much about SEI.
The Ministry of Construction ranks design institutes every year; just take a look to see, it’s simply a comprehensive ranking of various industries

Still doing this? You can just look at ENR’s rankings – there are rankings specific to design institutes in China, and they are quite authoritative. The rankings issued by the Survey and Design Association are also based on ENR’s rankings.

Tianjin Tianchen Design Institute is good for the chemical industry
In the petrochemical industry, I believe China’s estimated SEI is the highest among the refining and chemical processing sectors. Chengda, Tianchen, and Huanqiu are all very strong
SEI – for several years in a row it has been among the top in international rankings; it’s definitely number one in the domestic market, and in the petrochemical industry, SEI is the leader.
Every time we do this, aside from arguments, it seems like no conclusions can be reached!
