What precautions should be taken when joining 15CrMo and stainless steel pipes due to process requirements? Is heat treatment required? Please, experts, share your opinions!
Welding of dissimilar steel grades has requirements for electrodes! Whether heat treatment is needed depends on the operating conditions; if it’s not a thermal pipeline, then it should not be necessary.
Is the medium-pressure steam line upstairs needed?
Personally, I think flanges are the best option. Can someone explain why the pipes must be welded using different materials?

15CrMo material belongs to the pearlitic heat-resistant steel category, and heat treatment is generally required for its joints. Heat treatment is also necessary for welding different types of metals together. However, if 82 welding wire is used, heat treatment is usually not required.
