I am the production technology section chief of our company. I don't think production technology should be responsible for these instrument controls. I think production technology should be responsible for: 1. Improvement of process technology and rationalization of processes ; 2. Improve equipment capabilities and improve production efficiency ; 3. Solve frequent faults ; 4. Save costs and reduce energy consumption ; 5. Formulation, planning, design, contact purchase, assembly and commissioning of new equipment and new solutions 6. Improvement of product quality, etc. Maybe our company's production technology and the production technology you mentioned are two different concepts. However, since I am engaged in technology, I think the above aspects are the way to go. It is also the meaning of the existence of production technology courses. As for instruments, mechanical failures, stability of production conditions, monitoring, etc., they should be the responsibility of the repair department and the manufacturing department, not the production technology department.
