For horizontal spiral centrifuges, the fault symptoms listed in the diagnostic guidelines are two: 1. High moisture content; 2. Poor solid-liquid separation. Don’t \"high moisture content\" and \"poor solid-liquid separation\" mean the same thing? Is there still a difference between the two? Please ask the teacher for guidance

Those are two different things anyway. The first one relates to the properties of the material: no matter how it is centrifuged, its moisture content remains high ； The second is that the performance of the centrifuge is not very good for solid-liquid separation. One is a cause, the other is an effect; they are not the same!
A high water content means that the material discharged from the centrifuge has a high level of moisture, exceeding the specified limits. Generally, the moisture content of the material after treatment by the centrifuge can be adjusted by modifying the height of the centrifuge’s overflow weir (within certain limits). In actual production, when the subsequent drying capacity is sufficient, the moisture content requirement of the material after centrifugation can be appropriately reduced to increase the production capacity of the centrifuge. Poor solid-liquid separation results in a high solid content in the centrifugal mother liquor, which leads to material loss; this is one of the key performance indicators of a centrifuge.
