ASTM A106 – What is the equivalent Chinese grade for Cr.B?

Something doesn’t seem right; if it’s 20#, then there’s no need to purchase it from abroad. Could someone with expertise please explain this?

They are not quite the same; the allowable stress of SA106 GR.B is higher than that of 20#, so it cannot be used as a substitute.
I don’t know; I just came in to take a look.
In terms of material, A106B is similar to China’s 20# steel. But personally, I think when selecting materials, one should consider whether the standards are equivalent. I have also been studying the relationship between the two, and I hope everyone will participate and share their opinions. Additionally, there is also A53B in the ASTM standards, which is also carbon steel; therefore, there is a difference between them.
