What are everyone’s thoughts on electronic materials?

Previously, when encountering problems at work, I would have to consult books and reference materials, which was a slow process and not convenient to carry around. Now, there are many electronic versions of such materials, which makes things much easier. Moreover, many reference books are quite expensive; buying or collecting them all would cost a lot of money. With electronic versions, it’s different – even if one can’t afford the printed versions, it’s still possible to search for information and learn from them. What are everyone’s thoughts on electronic versions of materials?
The electronic version is convenient, but it doesn’t look as good; it’s not as good as a book.
For classic and commonly used books, it’s better to get a paper version; however, for some older books, paper versions are not available, so an electronic version will do as well； Also, many electronic books can be downloaded, while there’s no need to have that many printed versions – it’s costly and not very practical
Although the electronic version is convenient to carry, it is not as easy to browse as the paper version. Additionally, its marker quality is worse. For classic materials, the paper version is still better. Of course, there is now an electronic version, and it’s even more convenient to have a paper version.
I think the electronic version is great; there’s no need to carry around a stack of thick papers on business trips.

I agree with the person above; the electronic version is indeed inconvenient for reading and searching, but its low cost is its biggest advantage.
Each has its advantages and disadvantages. I aim to have the best of both worlds, haha – a bit greedy, yes. But it’s true. When I don’t have the financial means, I opt for the electronic version; when it’s inconvenient, I still use the electronic version. But when I can afford it, I definitely go for the print version. The paper version brings me joy in reading. Having dealt with books for so many years, holding a thick book in my hands is truly a pleasure. Seeing the books I’ve already read piled up there also gives me a sense of satisfaction

For truly valuable classic works, a print version is preferable, while for those that aren’t too useful and only have limited reference value, an electronic version will suffice, after all, it’s cheaper and more convenient. However, the electron beam is indeed not as comfortable to open as paper, nor is it convenient for making marks.
Just like now with QQ and diaries, there are fewer letters written, but they can’t replace the feeling of receiving a letter

E-books are convenient to carry, but I am still* used to reading paper books.
