Some time ago I uploaded a benzene-toluene column simulator; some friends tried using it, and some gave their feedback – some said it worked, while others mentioned issues. I think it should work; I tested it repeatedly before sending it. Some people say it can’t be used; probably because they didn’t read the internal documentation carefully and thus failed to install it correctly. There are two things to keep in mind: 1. First, use the tools in the package to create a virtual drive (the reason is clearly explained in the documentation). 2. During installation, a dialog box will appear asking for the virtual drive letter; enter the same character you used when creating the virtual drive – it should be just one English character, with no colon required). 3 If you don’t want to create a virtual disk, you can also enter the existing hard drive letter during installation (just one English character, no colon required). Are there any friends in the field of process simulation or OTS here? Feel free to exchange ideas with each other.
As a supplementary note, some people have no experience operating DCS systems and are not familiar with Honeywell’s TDC3000; they should read my instruction documents in detail. msn: simpse@hotmail.com

Hehe, I finally found someone who has had similar experiences to mine. I worked as an OTS for a year, and now I’m at Aspentech.
By the way, Honywell no longer uses that old system; the new ones are mostly PKS and C200 or 300.
I don’t have enough money; please send it to my email address. Thank you very much: wusuowei43@163.com. I’m about to start working, doing OTS work, and I’ve never dealt with it before; I’d like to learn about it in advance
What are the requirements for joining Aspen?
A decent command of English, some knowledge of chemical engineering, and experience using simulation software is sufficient.
Hehe, I’d like to go there too. What’s the salary like there? Could you share that information? I majored in chemical engineering and have experience with simulation; it’s just that my English isn’t very good :(
The company has dedicated people in charge of OTS. Ask them to come up and discuss it
jianting: Which company? I don’t understand
I heard that dynamic simulation software and chemical engineering simulation software can be connected together; is that true?
Strictly speaking, dynamic simulation software is a type of chemical engineering simulation software. Chemical engineering simulation is actually divided into dynamic simulation and steady-state simulation; therefore, what was said above isn’t very clear
I’m a new member of this forum; please be kind to me. However, due to the many projects and a busy schedule, my visits might not be very frequent, hehe~ I’m heading on a business trip to FAT tomorrow, so I came by first to say hello to my colleagues. :)
Strictly speaking, there should be a difference between dynamic simulation software and chemical engineering simulation software, right?
I’ve done simulations, but I haven’t used OTS
I’ve also done simulations, but I haven’t used OTS. Is OTS easy to learn?
It will still take a long time if it’s to be done.

I am also working on OTS; I haven’t done it before, so I hope the more experienced colleagues can give me some guidance
