Question: How should the volume of the gas-liquid separation tank/buffer tank installed before the compressor be calculated? Are there any existing standards? Thank you.
There are two types: 1. The calculation for the liquid separation tank at the inlet of centrifugal compressors can be found in the \"Reference Manual for Process Design in the Petrochemical Industry\" (Petrochemical Design Information Center, Sinopec). 2. The volume of the inlet buffer tank for positive displacement pumps needs to be determined through dynamic analysis; the calculation methods are outlined in the relevant sections of Part 1 of the \"Manual for the Installation of Process Piping in Petrochemical Plants\".

The book titled “Reference Manual for Process Design in Petrochemical Industry” could not be found on Baidu. I hope someone in reply number 2 can provide this book, so that we can all improve together
