Our company generates large amounts of waste hydrochloric acid, with a concentration of only 6%, and it also contains 5% methanol. How can we recover the methanol and concentrate the hydrochloric acid? Biological oxidation cannot be used for treatment; lime must be used to neutralize it first, followed by treatment in an oxidation tank. However, there is too much salt and methanol present, resulting in poor treatment efficiency. We want to use chemical methods for treatment, but we don’t know how to do it.
