Dear friends, one of the mass flow meters of our affiliated company, a model E+H, is having problems; the alarm indicated that the vibrating tube is not vibrating. What do you think might be the cause of this issue? I look forward to everyone's help.
What is the model? What is the alarm code? It’s best to take it for repair; it seems the amplification board is broken.
:Lol :lol No way. According to my colleague, it’s almost new in their company. I wonder if the vibration tube isn’t powered on? I’ve seen a HighAccuracy meter with 2 boundary box units; the vibration tube has its own 24V power supply. I raised this question with my colleague, who said that this flow meter only has one wiring box, so I’m not sure. I’m asking everyone for their opinions.

We used E+H high-temperature mass flow meters; due to impurities in the fluid, these impurities blocked both the pipes and the flow meters, and it was not possible to remove them. After using steam to clean them, the flow finally became possible again. However, when the systems were put into operation, an alarm was triggered indicating that the measurement tube was not vibrating. The manufacturer says it can’t be fixed. Tap the mass flow meter with something to create vibrations; sometimes that will get it working again. It’s still likely an issue with impurities that have disrupted the vibration balance of the two vibration measurement tubes.

It is recommended to contact E+H’s after-sales service; do not try to disassemble it on your own. If you damage it accidentally, you will lose the warranty, and the repair costs will be high. Contact the supplier right away
Using steam to purge a mass flow meter seems very dangerous; if the temperature is too high, it’s easy to damage the oscillation coil
