Can electric control valves be used for the methanol unit?

Our factory is about to launch a methanol project, and there is ongoing debate regarding whether electric control valves can be used for this purpose. Electric or pneumatic is both acceptable; our factory uses pneumatic control, while in Chongqing electric systems are used as well, and the results are equally good
Electric and pneumatic options should both be viable, but the choice should be determined based on the on-site process conditions and safety requirements
