I would like to ask the experts from the design institute: what information should be displayed on the PID diagram regarding the piping?
Diameter, material, flow rate, insulation, medium, operating temperature, pressure. Anyway, there’s quite a lot of content.
First, I would like to confirm whether the original poster is asking about the information related to the piping discipline that needs to be displayed on the PID? Or does it only refer to information related to pipelines? The pipeline information that must be indicated on the PID of our unit includes: pipe diameter, medium, pipeline number, material grade, insulation requirements, and grade changes. The pipeline table should also further indicate other process parameter requirements for the pipelines. If it refers to information related to the piping field, then the entire PID is related to that field.

Personally, I think when learning *PID, one must first understand various symbols, then choose a specific process and study its PID diagram, until the point where one is able to draw it on a blank sheet of paper – at that point, progress will be significant
