In terms of pipe grades, for CPVC pipes, some fittings have a spigot-type end face. What type of end face is this? How is it usually connected?
spigot n. plug, faucet, sleeve – it should be similar to a butt-welded joint; CPVC pipes are generally joined by adhesive bonding, so this end face should be of the female type!
An insert-type joint is generally used for the end connections of small-diameter non-metallic valves, and it is located outside the swivel joints at both ends of the valve.
