During some free time spent exploring the seas and rivers, I found that they were very popular. There are many new posts, and even more replies to them; some popular posts have received hundreds of replies. If you go through them slowly, there isn’t much useful content available. After careful consideration, I have devised a system to prevent spamming while allowing newcomers to increase the number of posts they make. Hope for the implementation in Wanghaichuan. The content is as follows: Premise: The moderators of each section organize the replies to the existing topic posts in that section, removing irrelevant replies, but they can retain the record of the replies from the original senders. Content: Starting from today (for a limited time), votes can be cast on posts that do not offer any practical solutions (with moderator oversight), and the moderators set a specific format for responses in order to increase the popularity of those topic posts. Rewards and penalties: The number of responses received is recorded. For voters at the fourth grade level or below, their posting count is logged; for those above the fourth grade, their posting count is no longer recorded. Explanation: Lower-level members are still required to post a certain number of posts, while higher-level members have lower requirements in terms of the number of posts they need to post; there are no rewards for this, and higher-level members are not encouraged to post that many posts either. Significance: It helps to reduce unnecessary posts, such as replies like “strongly support,” “the question is not clear,” or “there seems to be some issue.” Such content isn’t considered spam nor meaningless, but it does cause a lot of **annoyance** to readers. Regarding the content of the reply posts, similar discussions have taken place on the forum before, but I don’t think that those top-posted replies or posts without any substantive content are meaningless. On the contrary, as long as the replies aren’t made maliciously or carelessly, they allow people to understand others’ views and opinions. This is particularly important for uploaded shared materials, as it at least provides a reference for those who wish to download them.
I think it’s hard to define this. Replies also contribute to the atmosphere of the forum to a certain extent. At the same time, some people ask questions, but they aren’t detailed enough, making it difficult to answer. Responding with “The question isn’t clear; please be more specific” isn’t meaningless – I think it would be better to create sub-forums within the main forum
Discussion posts generally don’t contain replies like “thank you,” as that results in points being deducted. Posts containing materials, along with replies saying “thank you,” do not affect the download of the subject material, so no points are deducted in such cases. Discussions are welcome
There has been a lot of discussion regarding the quality of replies posted. In fact, HaiChuan’s criteria for determining whether a reply constitutes spam are now quite reasonable. I believe there is no need to continue arguing over this issue. According to HaiChuan’s rules, short replies in information-based posts are not considered spam, but such behavior in discussion posts must be firmly prevented and severely punished; heavy penalties could be imposed as a deterrent.

I think that although there will be many fewer expressions of gratitude, in the long run it is beneficial for valuable technical discussions and their appeal; so I fully support cleaners.
