Our facility is designed for a capacity of 10 WT/a, and KKK compressors are used; the required moisture content is below 40 ppm, but current analyses show that it exceeds 100 ppm. There are only two drying towers available – one is a packed-bed drying tower and the other is a bubble column drying tower. Are there any effective ways to reduce the moisture content of chlorine? :handshake Thank you # , , &
Personally, I think the options are either to improve the drying capacity of the dryer tower or to add more dryer towers; when the moisture content is high, drying is the only option available, as there are no better solutions. :L
Our company also uses packed towers combined with packing caps, as well as 3K compressors. However, the moisture content in our output remains stable; tests conducted by Qilu Petrochemical show that the moisture content in chlorine stays below 20 ppm. Please check the spray density of your towers, as well as factors such as acid concentration and temperature that can affect the moisture content in chlorine gas.
1. Increase the concentration of waste acid by 82%. 2. Control the temperature of sulfuric acid at 12~15
In addition to what the above people have mentioned, a set of titanium cooling device can also be added
1. Add a water skimmer, and strictly control the cooling temperature of titanium; 2. Analyze the operating condition of the tower to determine which stage has poor treatment efficiency ; 3. If it’s very high, there may be a problem with the blister; if it’s only a few hundred, it might be an issue with the control of relevant parameters ; 4. At present, it is only possible to increase the concentration of dilute acid, reduce the temperature of the circulating acid, and the temperature of the concentrated sulfuric acid fed into the tower.
Our company has encountered situations where the moisture content in the chlorine was high; upon inspection, it was found that the issue was caused by a blockage in the sulfuric acid heat exchanger and an insufficient circulation volume of sulfuric acid. The problem was resolved after cleaning, so please check whether the pressure at the outlet of the sulfuric acid pump is too high.
The unit is designed for a capacity of 10 WT/a; how much is the price of a KKK compressor?
