In addition to performing strength calculations in accordance with HG20582, the following requirements must be indicated in the diagram: 1. Requirements are set for the height variation of the three supports, and this variation needs to be controlled. 2. It is necessary to control the settlement of the civil engineering foundation; in particular, it should be monitored during the initial period of use to prevent uneven settlement. 3. Corresponding requirements should also be set for equipment installation.
When is it necessary to add three saddles?
When the cylinder is very long and heavy, considering the use of multiple saddles is advisable. However, multiple saddles should be used with caution, as factors such as foundation settlement can easily cause the components to not be in the same plane. It is best to position the three saddles in the middle; if they are placed on the sides, the length of the holes should be as large as possible
The three-saddle structure is a statically indeterminate problem; its design is complex, and high requirements are placed on its manufacturing and installation, otherwise it makes no sense.
