Why is there so much acidic sludge in the outlet pipe of the main fan?

Our company has now changed the previous one-turn-one-suction process to a two-turn-two-suction process. After cutting open the pipe at the outlet of the main fan, we found that the acidic sludge filled up 4/5 of the pipe’s cross-sectional area. How could there be so much acidic sludge?
It’s not surprising; I saw that acid sludge from a factory had completely clogged the heat exchanger. The cooler in one of the equipment rooms was also blocked, with a pressure resistance of over 300 millimeters of water column.
