About the coupling?

A self-compensating plug-in coupling for rapid piping connection. It includes a coupling body composed of a sleeve, a sealing ring, pressure plates, and clamping bolts. On the outside of the two pressure plates, there are respectively a limit plate with pins and a slotted limit plate that fits with this pin-equipped limit plate; the rear part of the slotted limit plate is fixed to a pipe clamp by screws. Union joints are primarily used in the coal feeding pipeline systems of thermal power plant boilers; they serve to absorb or compensate for the three-dimensional deformations that occur in these pipelines due to thermal expansion and contraction, thereby allowing the boiler burners and coal feeding pipes to expand freely and flexibly without inducing additional stress on the equipment. In other words, a soft connection can act as an expansion joint.
