Search for literature on the synthesis of ethylene glycol using sodium ethoxide

RT: The current synthesis of ethylene glycol is mainly carried out through catalytic methods. Recently, I have come across a lot of information regarding the use of sodium ethanolate for the synthesis of ethylene glycol, but I am unable to find any relevant materials, so I am turning to you for help. Is there anyone who can assist me? Thank you!
There are methods for producing ethylene glycol from syngas; I’ve never heard of ethylene glycol being synthesized directly from sodium ethanolate
There are no reports of this yet, but how do you know? Are there other manufacturers?
If you are good at English, you can check some foreign-language chemical engineering websites, or look it up on patent databases
Is it economically viable to produce ethylene glycol using sodium ethanolate?; P
I also think it’s not necessary to synthesize ethanol from sodium ethoxide; after all, the cost involved is not worth anything. I suggest that the original poster give up on this idea.
