Regarding duplicate posts

Recently, while organizing materials related to environmental protection (member resources, book sharing section), I came across a case of duplicate posting. To give an example: there is existing material on the forum, such as http://bbs.hcbbs.com/thread-45583-1-23.html, which contains industry-specific clean production plans; the attachment for these plans is a Word document. Someone who was looking for information on clean production downloaded this document, organized it by industry into separate Word files, and then uploaded those files to the forum. I found that post to be quite familiar, so I went to check the original post – and indeed, it was the one mentioned above. Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted that duplicate post; it would have been better if it had been moved to the recycle bin. For posts with similar or related titles, we need to download the attachment to verify their authenticity. I have another question: is it necessary to close the post when the information has been organized?
Merging is a good way to solve problems； It’s easier to find when various arrangements of some materials—such as chapter breakdowns, different versions, languages, and formats—are combined together. After all, when searching for information, people still use the name to do it. Send a message to the site administrator; it should be possible to retrieve it. I’ve closed off the entire industrial control data section ； It can improve management efficiency.
I’ve encountered this situation too; it doesn’t happen very often, so the only option is to verify one’s identity. If the organized materials meet the posting guidelines and nothing further needs to be added, it can be closed; otherwise, the response will also be meaningless.
