Confusions regarding the timing and criteria for determining assessable wealth

1. Currently, the forum allows wealth and charm to be evaluated every 24 hours, after which they are regenerated. The disadvantages of this approach are quite obvious; it greatly restricts the time available for members to give ratings, as they must do so at a fixed time each day, or no later than that time. This may lead to the situation where ratings were given on the forum last night, but upon returning to the forum the next morning there are no ratings left to give, and if there’s no time at night, then the chance to rate today is lost. It reduced members’ enthusiasm. Suggestion: Change from being regenerated every 24 hours to being regenerated at midnight daily. 2. The issue of non-accumulative score points (I’m not sure if there are any scoring limits set by the moderators). This approach limits the generation of wealth within the forum; currently, many members only know how to download content and do not know how to rate those who provide it, which results in slow accumulation of wealth among members and an extremely slow pace of progression. Generally, only moderators assign scores; if moderators are also subject to such restrictions, it will inevitably result in many posts that deserve higher scores receiving lower ratings, while those that should receive lower scores not getting any rating at all. In the current setup, it is extremely difficult for regular members to upgrade to a higher membership level. If it weren’t for the daily red envelopes available to claim (these days, many people can’t get any red envelopes because they don’t post enough posts :'( ), then many members would never be able to go to college in their lifetime. Suggestion: Change the daily wealth evaluation cap to a cap every 3 days (or set an upper limit), that is, the amounts for the second and third days are added together. 3. Currently, the scoring value for grades 3, 4, and 5 in primary school is 6￥, which is truly pitifully low. Suggestion: Slightly increase the amount of assessable wealth for these grades or grant the authority to assign charm scores. Please discuss thoroughly whether the above suggestions are feasible. The original poster is very familiar with the scoring system and offers excellent suggestions; in my opinion, as the grade level increases, the scoring limits (whether it’s the maximum number of scores per assessment or the overall score limit) should also increase accordingly. It’s not easy to level up; there has to be some change somehow. If all the permissions are the same, it may deprive people of the motivation to upgrade and remove the sense of novelty. Even a difference of just 1 point, a 2-point difference in permissions, serves as an encouragement and incentive for those who are upgrading. The forum encourages rating, but it may be concerned that some members, especially those with lower ranks, might use this right to inflate ratings for each other; therefore, restrictions are in place for members of lower ranks. If you want more rights to assign ratings, you can apply to join the technical group, which might grant you greater such privileges.
Article 3 can be considered for adjustment; the first two cannot be implemented technically
The phenomenon of mutual rating manipulation might occur, but lower-level members post very few messages and have few acquaintances; even if they rate each other, they can only do so once, and the amount of money available for rating is limited, so the harm caused isn’t significant. I’ve also done programming; technically speaking, if there’s source code, there shouldn’t be any problems. As suggested in the first point, generating wealth every 24 hours as it is now requires more complex programming, since it is necessary to keep track of when each person uses up their wealth; the system has to continuously query and update the database for all members, which wastes resources. On the other hand, if wealth is generated at midnight each day, only one query and update are needed to handle it. As for the second suggestion, it can be implemented by adding the daily value to each person’s evaluable wealth (or charm, etc.) at midnight every day; if this value exceeds a certain threshold (which can be set arbitrarily depending on the circumstances, as long as the value added at midnight is below that threshold), it should then be updated to that threshold value. Senior members generally don’t do this, and new members usually don’t either; however, it’s possible that individual members register repeatedly in order to rate each other. Such behavior is impossible to prevent entirely, but as long as we can detect it in a timely manner, we can deal with it.
1. Members in higher grades generally have good self-discipline, so there’s no need to worry. 2. Duplicate registrations indeed pose a serious problem. To eliminate them, I think it would be sufficient to remove the right to assign scores for second-grade students, or to impose a limit on the number of posts (such as 50 posts); with this measure, such phenomena could basically be prevented. I suggest immediately removing the grading authority for second graders.
This adjustment will not be canceled; another adjustment will be made before the New Year next year depending on the circumstances.
