Current tank manufacturers do not produce skirt bases for tanks; instead, they fix the foot bolts directly to the tank’s foundation ring plate. Is such a design reasonable?
It’s normal; look at the oil tank areas – they’re all placed directly on the foundation
It’s quite reasonable; using a skirt foundation is similar to fixing it directly to the base – it mainly comes down to which option is more cost-effective.
It’s a waste to use the foundation design for towers (the base plate, rebar, and cover plates) for a damaged storage tank; areas where such a design is adopted either experience earthquake strengths of 8 degrees or above, or wind pressures of 700 Pa or higher. Otherwise, the designer can take it out and hit 50 big slabs

Foundation bolts are used to prevent any lateral movement of the tank. If the tank is small, it can be fixed directly to the ring-shaped base plate; but for larger tanks (such as those with a capacity of 1000 liters), further consideration is needed. :P :P :P

Second, in tanks with a large diameter but a relatively low height, under slight internal pressure, the bottom plate may be subjected to upward forces around its edges (due to insufficient weight of the tank walls), while at the same time it experiences downward forces in the center, which could lead to deformation
Atmospheric flat-bottom tanks generally come with foot bolt seats; the tank body is placed on the foundation, and there is no need to adjust its verticality or to perform grouting – it can be fixed directly using the foot bolts.
The anchor bolts should be provided with bolt seats and connected securely to the tank wall; they must not be \"fixed directly to the foundation ring plate of the storage tank\"! !
In terms of stability, it is relatively unsafe. Accidents are likely to occur.
