The key to glass-lined equipment is to ensure that all connections are leak-free; any leaks should be addressed promptly without delay, in order to prevent corrosion of the tank body and subsequent peeling of the glass coating. By the way, what do you mean by acidic materials? Are there any operating conditions?
Enameled steel is still the best choice. The cost using 316L is higher.
