It’s hard to say which one is the best, but I’ve used the Cologne model and found it to be quite good; its installation and calibration are easy, and its measurements are accurate
E+H, SIEMENS, and Emerson are all good options; however, it’s best not to use radar for horizontal tanks (as some media can produce bubbles, paraffin, etc.)
E+H is highly professional in level measurement; it is one of the largest manufacturers of measuring instruments and its products are used in various industries. We use their products in large quantities, mainly in tanks equipped with agitators； Of course, Siemens products are also very good; we used Siemens’ 400 radar for solid dust measurement, and it worked excellently. Domestic options are available as well, such as those from Beijing Xiangdao, but there is still a gap in many key technologies compared to foreign products.
