May I ask how valves are determined based on the leakage level? What kind of valve does JM refer to? Can it be found in those books? Thank you!
Mechanically controlled directional valves use mechanical forces such as cams or stops to switch the valve and generate a signal; when these mechanical forces are removed, the valve returns to its original position and the signal is eliminated. The control mechanisms for such valves include rod-type, rod-and-wheel type, and lever-and-wheel type designs. These valves can be of the 2/3-way or 2/5-way type, with the P and R ports in a 2/3-way valve being interchangeable, allowing the valve to switch from a normally closed state to a normally open state.
