Where are these equipment materials used? Is it a project construction or a major overhaul/maintenance of the installation? Could you provide a specific use?

Generally, it is determined by the owner based on quality and schedule requirements. For equipment with long lead times, major equipment such as compressors, equipment made from special materials, and imported instruments can all make use of framework agreements.
It depends on whether your equipment purchases are intended for major repairs or for project construction; it also depends on the scale of investment in your project. Framework agreement procurement is more suitable for large and medium-sized projects, while for smaller projects there is no need to invest so much effort in framework procurement – it’s better to exercise control through design and by making decisions regarding the design choices. For large and medium-sized projects, purchasing through framework agreements can reduce the construction costs, and it also has certain advantages regarding the quantity of spare parts needed once they enter the production phase; however, design selection is equally important.
