Gate valves are characterized by low resistance and small installation dimensions; they do not change the direction of the fluid flow, but they are not suitable for regulating flow rates, as the valve core is prone to vibration and damage when in a partially open position. The characteristics of a globe valve are reliable sealing and the ability to regulate flow; its disadvantages are high pressure drop and a change in flow direction as the fluid passes through the valve core. Based on your usage, the utility systems for connecting the oil loading and unloading pipelines involve frequent flow adjustments, and changes in pressure drop and flow direction have virtually no impact on operation. So the conclusion must be: globe valve
