To all moderators of the technical sections: The forum currently has three main areas for technical exchanges: engineering technology, mechanical equipment technology, and industry-specific technology discussions. Each of these sections includes its own dedicated area for resource sharing. There are a few suggestions that I hope will draw the attention of all moderators; let’s work together to develop and improve the \"technical exchange areas\", which are the core of Haichuan’s development: 1. Move the topic posts related to technical resources to the corresponding resource-sharing areas; 2. Reasonably categorize the help requests, discussion posts, original posts, etc. in the forum area to facilitate members’ viewing ; 3. Move the request posts in the section to the Request for Information area or the Solved Requests area. Regarding the first point, the site administrator has already sent notifications via internal messages, and I too posted reminders in the technical discussion forum twice; I hope everyone will take active action – spending about half an hour each day on this task will be sufficient! Not long ago, bht11 proposed an initiative to categorize posts in the engineering and technical discussion area. As for post categorization, all the current sections are quite good. I hope that the moderators will implement points 1 and 3, which I suggested, into their daily management tasks.
No one is better at knowing people and making appropriate recommendations, nor at understanding the flaws of the times, than Luo Mi.
There is a question of “how to classify” in categorization. I have done link-based classification before, but it’s relatively easy to implement; however, it’s more difficult to maintain. The moderator once mentioned a method to add sub-forums to each forum in order to further categorize them. Actually, adding sub-sections is the most convenient way for categorization.
The first and third versions have been completed; it’s just that the classification for the second point is not yet easy to manage.
The junior is an outstanding management talent; the future glory of the forum will come sooner thanks to your hard work and that of everyone else. Let’s all strive hard! :victory:
Got it; it’s just one word: “handshake”
Strong support: victory: :victory: :victory:
We support the initiative for an upgraded version; we urge everyone to unite and work together to create a charming HaiChuan, and to jointly build a high-quality forum!
