Which domestic manufacturer in China currently offers the best MDEA? What are the levels of efficiency, energy consumption, corrosion, and wear?
At present, Wujin in Changzhou is producing MDEA solutions with a purity of 99%, but it’s not known what the effects of long-term use will be. Xinjiang and Ningxia have used it – please share your opinions
Changzhou \ Wujin does a good job in producing MDEA solutions, and our factory has been using them. Due to its high consumption, our factory has switched to the pressure swing adsorption process.

Changzhou\Wujin isn’t good enough… it’s not satisfactory. We’re currently using the products from Sichuan Fine Chemical Institute, but their quality is just average; corrosion still occurs, and we can’t solve this problem. Does anyone have any good solutions???:handshake :call:

Previously we used products from foreigners in Germany; delivery couldn’t be guaranteed on time, the procurement process was very lengthy, and coordination was extremely troublesome. The products from Taihu in Jiangsu are even better than those from abroad. Our decarburization system used to bubble all the time, requiring constant use of defoamers, but things are much better now. The domestic production technology for MDEA is now quite mature, so there is no need to import it anymore
Is the corrosion inhibitor aluminum pentoxide still added to the MDEA solution used by current users? I heard that in some MDEA decarboxylation units, corrosion is reduced when alumina pentoxide is not used – is that true? Everyone might as well introduce themselves.
Generally, MDEA combined with V2O5 has not been heard of. The corrosion inhibitor in the MDEA system is an organic chemical. Such as piperazine, etc.
From what the original poster says, your MDEA doesn’t contain V2O2? So, what is the level of iron ions in that decarburization solution? Please give an introduction. Also, piperazine should be considered an activator, right?
